Ashburn Chemical Technologies Donates to Amazing Place

HOUSTON, TX. – Ashburn Chemical Technologies, the supplier of FLUID360™ and FACILITYCARE360™ solutions that help our customers GO BEYOND to protect people, processes and production, is grateful to have been able to donate Ashburn essential products to Houston’s Amazing Place.

Amazing Place provides the absolute best in daily dementia programming and care. The mission of Amazing Place is to empower lives disrupted by dementia. Rather than asking why, Amazing Place wants people to ask how. How should I feel? How should I respond? How can dementia be prevented? How can I help? And most importantly, how can I empower the lives of those affected? Because how we react to the very first signs of dementia can create lasting strength for those we love.

Amazing Place, originally known as The Seniors Place until Fall 2009, began in two converted classrooms at St. Luke’s United Methodist Church in 1996 with three staff members serving three participants. Our organization remains true to its original mission – serving adults with mild to moderate dementia and their caregiving families. As the number of participants grew, Amazing Place relocated in 2000 to a small building at 2714 Joanel Street, and eventually to a new state-of-the-art facility at 3735 Drexel Drive, where they are today.
